quiet atmosphere well appointed rooms good night
This hotel is my third visit. I go to a house music festival located near by and find the hotel very useful. It is quiet and i find the rooms are well equipped. I sleep well after a day of dancing.
i found no face coverings worn by the staff.

The hotel features a six acre field located to the rear. This field is perfect for dog walks and you don't have to leave the hotel's hotel. I consider this useful.

the ample car parking made arrival easy i appreciated the convenience for exploring nearby st albans the room included a comfortable bed with a warm shower i found the location perfect as a stopover returning from heathrow after a lovely trip.
the bathroom cleanliness needs improvement specifically the toilet bowl needs better attention

good meal good order value money dirty cup chipped cup warm bread
the evening meal was lovely, i enjoyed it. the hotel was in good order and the room seemed fine. value for money was good, i think.
the breakfast was a disaster, i waited a long time for tea. the first cup was dirty, the second cup was chipped. toast wasn't even slightly brown, just warm bread.

The breakfast offered a good selection and was satisfying. I found a fan and iron with ironing board in the wardrobe, useful. The staff addressed my request, even when it was initially challenging. I appreciate the hotel isn't a modern chain. It has a certain charm.
My room was quite far from reception. This could pose challenges with mobility issues.
